Norisiam has since the beginning of her career shined as a guest performer on many of the songs by the "O-Town's finest" Doberman INC. No singles and no videos to promote the new album the release of Brave New World comes as a surprise even though the demand for her solo releases have been high ever since her debut appearance. Hype does not always guarantee quality however since the attention new female MC's receive from the hip-hop heads and the media is always higher in general than for their male counterparts especially in Japan where it's almost a trend to discover new talented female rappers.

Many things have changed for Norisiam-X on Brave New World. The curse of female MC's turning into part time singers has troubled so many releases in the past and is also visible on this release which works as a downfall for the album (she should really stick to rapping). Flow-wise Norisiam-X has calmed down clearly for this release resulting in a somewhat r&b type mood and combined with her sex/money/guys lyrics it makes Brave New World a bit shallow.

The production for this album is mostly "your average style bounce tracks/club joints" that really do not have much replay value. In the end the album is a bit like the corner store 2 dollar shoes that you wear twice before they finally break and you realise that you should invest your money on something that's made from better materials. If Japan would have it's own Lil' Kim or Foxy Brown that would definately be Norisiam-X. The album will most likely satisfy some of the mainstream listeners but yet it manages only to deliver a very stereotypical experience from the female point of view.
